To help travelers discover the ultimate destinations on their radar in 2023, Booking.com has delved into global booking trends to share these top trending destinations for travelers to explore. Travel Predictions 2023 research was commissioned by Booking.com and conducted among adults who plan to travel for business or leisure in the next 12-24 months.

In total, 24,179 respondents across 32 countries and territories were polled.

At second place on this year’s list is Budva – a small Montenegrin town on the Adriatic coast.

With its pleasant Mediterranean climate (more than 230 annual days of sunshine), rich history, vibrant atmosphere, and numerous beaches, Budva is one of the foremost Montenegrin tourist destinations.

Budva is a scenic town surrounded by fortified walls, cobbled streets, and beautiful stone buildings. It has a history spanning more than 2,500 years, which makes it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast.
The Old Town and its promenade host a large number of bars, pubs, and restaurants, as well as diverse shops. Budva also has a reputation as the nightlife capital of the eastern Adriatic and features several casinos attached to hotels.

The Budva Riviera features 17 beaches – from sand to pebbles and rocks.
