Foreigners bought real estate worth 153m euros

In the first eight months of this year, the total investments of foreign citizens and companies in Montenegro amounted to EUR 524.44 million, according to new preliminary data from the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG). Of that amount, almost 153m EUR is related to real estate investment in our country.

Among the countries whose citizens gave more than EUR 1 million for real estate in Montenegro in the first eight months are as many as 22 countries.

Namely, out of EUR 152.15 million in the total value of sold real estate in Montenegro, the most money was given by citizens of Russia EUR 31.46 million, followed by Serbia EUR 23.17 million, and Germany and the USA with EUR 13.86 and 11.37, respectively. million, while the Swiss bought real estate worth 9.58 million. Citizens of Great Britain, Croatia, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Belgium, Kosovo, and Austria gave between three and six million for real estate.
